Coka , was my baby.
He was Caka’s son. Born in May 2010th. She didn’t want to nurse him so I fed him with the the syringe since he was two weeks old.His beauty was unreal,as was his goodness.
He was a very big cat,his adult weight was nearly 9 kg.He had nature and some looks, like mainecoon cats.Kind and gentle,big with tussocks on the top of his ears.
He used to chirp like a bird,he did not like to sit in the lap, but he enjoyed to be carried,and liked to be with me all the time .
Never snorting or growling .
After Caka’s death he wouldn’t lose us out of his sight, he was constantly following us.
I couldn’t imagine im my worst dreams that I could lose him so soon.
He was always healthy and happy .
On August 11th, He calmed down, first I thought that was because of the heat, he still had apetite, but even though the same evening we called the vet.
Vet measured the temperature , which was high , gave him an antibiotic, vitamin B and said it was just a virus that will pass in a few days.
The next day, he was more or less the same,in the evening he again got injections.
During the night he developes difficult breathing. Same morning I took him to the vet again. They put him on oxygen, did analysis, X-rays.They sad he had lungh edema,I still do not know how serious that is.They gave him Lasix and sent us home to come back in the morning .
The next day the story repeated again oxygen, ultrasound , Lasix ,he was constantly getting worse.In the evening they let us go home and said that they have done everything they can. They did not have concrete explanation for everything that was happening to him.
He stoically and silently endured everything that veterinarians did to him, even offered his paw to inject lasix through cannula which was previously put.
He died the same night.in my arms in terrible pain.
He was 3 years and 3months old.
He died 45 days,after his mother was found dead.

And still my heart bleeds for my baby. I'll never stop wondering, if something could be done differently ?
